Scarlett Point Tower is situated on the southwest coast of the Isle of Man, in Castletown. It was formerly used a coastguard look out tower until the early 1970's and was then decommissioned.

The Tower has been used by radio hams for the last few years. There is a slideshow of Scarlett Point Tower on BBC Isle of Man website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/isleofman/content/image_galleries/scarlett_point_tower_gallery.shtml

In addition during World War 2, Scarlett Point was used as a radar station by the Allies. For more info please check this link: http://home.comcast.net/~w4fok/jf.ctc.history.htm

The coastal area near to the Tower also inspired local dance music producers Sterio & McGrath to write "Scarlett Point" - the release came on local label Source of Gravity Digital in 2007. Here are some clips of the 2010 re-release: http://mypromopool.com/labels/Source+Of+Gravity+Digital/r/878310
